Two ways to use Slack

Mention @Jobr

Anyone in a channel can @-mention Jobr for an instant threaded reply. Great for internal Q&A off the company brain.

Assigned channel

Assign a channel to an employee. New top-level messages become drafts, reviewed via your chosen approval mode.

Connect Slack

Open the connectors page

Go to /app/connectors and choose Slack.

Install the Jobr app

Sign in with Slack and authorize the workspace.

Pick channels

On each employee, choose the channels it should watch and the approval mode per channel.

Approval modes on Slack

  • Approve-first. Every reply waits in the approvals queue.
  • Auto. Replies send directly, with the safety valve and any instruction-based escalations still active.
Gmail draft mode does not apply on Slack.

Good practices

Start new channels in approve-first. Watch a few days of drafts, then move trusted channels to auto.
